I went to CompUSA, but they had no information on this "Awsome Deal" and so would NOT honor this offer listed on your website. I went out of my way to go to a store further away from other stores and spent ~45minutes waiting for them to determine they were not responsible for this offer.
I left the store without purchasing this product.
Copy of ad:
"If you buy a slingbox between today and the 24th of september from CompUSA you get two “Netgear XE102 Powerline Adapters” worth 120$ with your slingbox.

If you were looking for a great offer on the slingbox buy it from CompUSa now:"

I saw Slingbox at Best Buy and wonder if it can wotk with Dish Network. If it can, Do I need to pay an extra 4.99 a month as if it is an extra receiver or can a person in the Linving Room wath 1 program and I can be in my bedroom with the Laptop wathing another on Slingbox and not get charged by Dish Network? Also, if this is possible, could I use my Laptop as a DVR and record the program for future veiwing. Your answers will let me know if Slingbox is in my future. Thanks

I am thinking about getting a sling box because I travel overseas alot and I miss football, etc. My concern however is that my PC and my router are in one room and my TV and satelite receiver are in another. I dont want to have to run an ethernet line out of the room, down the hall to the livingroom where the TV is to connect to the slingbox. How do I get around doing that, I don't want to have to put a satelite receiver in my computer room.

Sling Media Could Change The Way We Watch TV

You might be asking the question, what the heck is Sling Media? I was at first too. Then I saw an advertisement for the product and it created more confusion. Its design resembles a gold brick! However, after poking around

Has anyone out there actually purchased this gadget? I discovered Sling last night and it really peaked my curiosity, but not enough to go on the limb with $249 without some research. So my impression of Sling is that I connect it to my cable connection then Ether to my router and it wil rebroadcast the tv signal? Need more info please.
